Precision Wallcovering and Painting recently spent time doing some pro bono painting at the Shea Center for Therapeutic Riding in San Juan Capistrano. Though many of our jobs have been proceeding along on schedule during the lockdown, we definitely had some extra time to fill. As a way to give back to our local community and keep our employees working right now, we offered our services to the Shea Center and they were happy to accept.

The scope of our painting project at Shea included offices, meeting rooms, corridors, and stairwells. We were very pleased to partner with Sherwin Williams, who donated all the paint for this job, and Ahern rentals, who donated the rental of a scissor lift—necessary equipment when you’re painting stairwells!

Precision has a special connection to the equestrian world. Allan Horn, our founder and president, is a horse enthusiast. He is a champion endurance rider and is involved with local riding groups in the Southern California area. So we were especially happy to donate our time and services to an organization like the Shea Center, which specializes in helping improve the lives of people with disabilities through therapeutic horse-related programs.

Helping out a local non-profit is just one of the ways Precision is committed to helping out our community and taking care of our employees during this tough time. We hope all of you are staying safe and healthy right now. If all this extra time at home has given you any ideas for some renovations, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us! We would love to discuss your ideas and how Precision can help make them a reality.
